It's official, Calvin has been to the "happiest place on Earth", and boy did he have fun.
We made our way through the park taking in the sights and sounds as prescribed. Cal loved "It's a Small World"; he danced and bobbed the whole time. And he squealed as he soaked himself in a play land fountain. But the highlight, by far, was meeting Pooh Bear.
We let Cal run around until it was nearly his turn to meet Pooh, and then we showed him where we were. He was so excited he started to run toward Pooh, getting in a picture or two of the kids in front of us. Cal ran right over to him and gave Pooh a hug, following it with a high five and a few words of admiration. It was adorable!
Calvin had equally excitable responses to any stuffed Pooh Bears we found in stores or pictures of Pooh Bear on rides, etc. It was like being at Pooh Bear's house for the day.
Mickey who? As far as Calvin is concerned, the Magic Kingdom is Pooh's house.

What magic for a little boy, his Mommy and Daddy and even a
Grandma watching from the frozen North!! Such innocence and pure joy thaws all that adult cynicism and makes everyone in sight more childlike. Thank you, Sweet Calvin!
He's so musical and observant, it's like a feast everywhere he turns.
Yay!! How fun!! :) We were just there 2 weeks ago & had a blast! It was fun reading your Pooh story! :)
How delightful! It sounds like a wonderful family vacation! Enjoy!
I want to come on the next family vacation!! :) Calvin makes me smile.
